We practise full contact karate - The Kyokushin Way
At Karate Kai International, our mission is to empower individuals across all ages—children, youth, adults, and seniors—through full-contact karate. We are committed to uplifting underserved Cape Town and other similar communities by building confidence, discipline, and physical fitness in safe, inclusive spaces. Through structured training, competitive opportunity, and international exposure, we strive to guide every student towards personal excellence, resilience, and the positive impact of martial arts. Under the leadership of Kancho Deen Daniels, we honor the traditions of Kyokushin while adapting to meet the unique needs of our members, fostering a legacy of strength, unity, and community transformation.
23 September 2025:
Karate Kai International has been invited to compete in the False Bay Kyokushin Karate Memorial Tournament, held in memory of Sensei William Jordaan. The event will take place at the Wynberg Military Base, and we are honored to represent our dojo in this tribute tournament.
4 October 2025:
Our next major event is the Western Province Selection Tournament. This event plays a key role in selecting top competitors for 2026 national and inter-provincial competitions. Students placing 1st or 2nd will be eligible to purchase our official Western Province tracksuit. However, to qualify, students must also commit to traveling with our team to a full-contact national tournament outside the province in 2026.
